About

My Story

My name is Jarom Bergfeld, and I am an audio engineering student in the Digital Audio Production and Recording (DAPR) program at Utah Valley University. I come from a small town in Central Utah, where I developed a strong work ethic and a desire to pursue something greater through education and creativity.

I am passionate about audio engineering because it allows me to combine both technical skill and artistic expression. My interests include recording, mixing, live sound, and sound design, but I am especially drawn to the science behind sound. I have a growing interest in acoustics and how sound is reproduced through headphones and speaker systems, and I hope to explore this area further as I continue my education.

My goal is to graduate with my bachelor’s degree and build a career in the audio industry, starting with hands-on experience in studios or live sound environments. Long term, I aim to work not only as an audio engineer but also in the design and development of audio equipment, particularly headphones and speakers.

I am committed to improving my skills, learning from others in the field, and building a career that challenges me both creatively and technically.
